I. ABOUT OADR-LMS AND THE COURSES

1. What is OADR Learning Management System? 

  • It is the OADR’s official learning management system designed for asynchronous, digital education. It offers courses related to the promotion, awareness, ethical use and practice of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) for learners everywhere.

2. Who can enroll in the LMS?

  • The program is open to the public, including college students, ADR practitioners and advocates, and other individuals interested in learning the field of ADR.

3. What course/s do you offer?

  • For the pilot implementation in 2025, the OADR inaugurates the public offering of the Fundamental Course on ADR credit of 16 hours of technical training, featuring videos, interactive activities, and slides covering key ADR concepts, principles, and mechanisms in both local and international settings, as well as current ADR practices in the private and public sectors.

  • The course is designed to train the participants in ADR for them to strengthen their resolve to either advocate the use and ethical practice of ADR and/or pursue their professional careers as ADR neutrals/practitioners. With this training, learners have the opportunity to pursue further comprehensive courses offered by the agency that will lead them to be eligible for OADR accreditation.

4. Is the Fundamental course on ADR a pre-requisite to taking comprehensive courses on other ADR mechanisms?

  • No. Although taking the fundamental course is not mandatory, it is highly recommended as it provides valuable guidance in selecting the appropriate ADR mechanism based on your objectives. Upon finishing the course, learners will be encouraged to pursue specialized comprehensive courses, which will be offered by the OADR through the LMS in the near future.

II. REGISTRATION, ENROLLMENT AND FEES

5. How much is the training fee? 

  • The fee for the Fundamental Course on ADR is Php 2, 400.00 per learner (DOJ DC No. 33 S. 2022). This is non-refundable in case of withdrawal. Additionally, course slots are non-transferable to other individuals or courses

6. How do I register and process my payment?

  • For interested organizations/ individuals, please be guided of the following training enrollment process:

  • Please visit OADR Facebook Page for the training calendar and choose the training date of interest. Other ADR programs/ courses for FY 2025 can also be found on the page.

  • Accomplish the Training Application Form (TAF) via email to the training@oadr.doj.gov.ph to secure the Notice of Acceptance and Payment (NOAP).

  • Secure the Order of Payment from the Finance Division and pay the corresponding training fee at the OADR cashier or Landbank Linz Biz upon receipt of the NOAP.

  • Once the training fee is settled, access the OADR Training Registration Link to upload the receipt of payment or promissory note, when applicable to complete the enrollment process.

  • The course management team will acknowledge the receipt of the accomplished Training Registration Form, and the proof of payment sent, followed by the sending of administrative notes.

  • Attend the ADR Course as scheduled.

  • Secure the Notice of Acceptance and Payment (NOAP) from the Training and Program Development Division (TPDD) of the OADR

  • Payments can be done through OADR Cashier or via Landbank Link Biz upon receipt of NOAP

  • Scan the receipt if paid through OADR cashier or screenshot the electronic receipt if done through Landbank Link Biz for uploading to Training Registration Form of the TPDD

7. How do I enroll in a course?

  • Through the platform, enrollment is typically done by selecting a course from the available catalog and clicking on the "Enroll" button. Please note that a “payment first policy” is required to complete your registration which is a requirement prior to enrolment in the LMS. Promissory will be accepted in close coordination with the CMT. Credentials will be sent by email once registered successfully.

III. ACCESS TO PLATFORM

8. How do I access the LMS? Is it accessible on other devices?

  • You may access the LMS through a web browser using the provided login credentials upon successful registration. This may be accessed also through a mobile app for easy navigation on your smartphone or tablet.

9. Can I retake a quiz or exam?

  • The course allows a certain number of attempts at quizzes, exams and knowledge checks. Your most recent attempt will be considered your final score. 

IV. COMPLETION AND CERTIFICATES

10. How can I track my progress?

  • You can view your progress by visiting your user dashboard. The LMS will display completed modules, pending assignments, quiz scores, and overall course completion status. In addition, the administrator will send email notifications thrice every 5th, 10th and 14th day (subject to changes when necessary) during the two-week course duration to help keep learners engaged and on track for course completion.

11. How long does it take to finish a course?

  • The course is self-paced, allowing you to complete it at your own convenience. However, please note that you have two weeks to finish the 16-hour course on the fundamentals of ADR.

12. How do I know that I have already completed the course?

  • The easiest way to see if you have already completed it is to check if your progress bar is already at 100%. This can be found in your dashboard. To be eligible to receive the said certificate, participants shall attend 100% of the program with a passing grade on the assessment/s.

13. What happens if I can’t complete a course?

  • If you don’t complete a course, you will not be able to get a certificate.

14. What happens if I don’t pass the exams and assessments or did not meet the overall passing grade?  

  • Failure to complete the session tasks/ output and pass the assessments shall render you ineligible to receive the certificate.

15. Will I receive a certificate after completing the course?

  • Yes, upon successfully completing the course and meeting all the requirements, you will receive a digital certificate. This certificate shall include a unique code for verification and can be added to your CV or personal data sheet. This shall be generated electronically and a copy of the same will be sent to their registered email address for record-keeping and future retrieval.

16. When can I expect to receive my certificate?

  • The certificate will be issued to users upon successful completion of the course. This will be generated immediately upon submission of the CSSF through the LMS. A copy of the same will be sent to their registered email address for record-keeping and future retrieval.

17. Can I use my course certificate in CVs and PDS?

  • Yes, digital certificates obtained from this course and issued by the LMS can be used on professional networks, such as LinkedIn, or included in your resume or personal portfolio.

V. ACCOUNT AND PROFILE

18. What happens if I forget my password?

  • If you forget your password, you can click on the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. Follow the instructions to reset your password through your registered email.

19. Can I still access the course after completing it?

  • No. The course will automatically close once the designated period for the course offering ends, regardless of whether users have completed it or not. After the completion period, the course will be archived and made inaccessible to the public until the next run.

20. Can I have a copy of the training materials?

  • The materials and references used in the LMS may be downloaded in PDF version once you successfully complete the course. All training materials, including presentations and videos, are the exclusive property of OADR. Users are permitted to use such solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.  

  • Sharing or distributing the training materials without explicit permission from the OADR is strictly prohibited. This includes posting materials on social media, websites, or other online platforms.

  • Unauthorized reproduction or utilization of the training materials may result in severe consequences, including, but not limited to:  a) Legal action for copyright infringement; b) Termination of access to future training programs; c) Revocation of certification or completion status; and d) Financial penalties.

21. Is the course credited as CPD units?

  • CPD Units are not yet in place for LMS at this time. But you may include the course you completed as part of your CPD under Self-Directed Learning at PRC (Professional Regulation Commission) offices.

22. How can I get help if I encounter technical issues?

  • For technical assistance, you may contact the LMS support team via communication tools within the LMS, such as messaging, phone or designated email support. LMS concerns depending on the level of severity shall be addressed during regular office hours (8:00AM-5:00PM) with at least one (1) day turnaround time for the CMT to address the concern. There are also some troubleshooting guides available on the dashboard.

23. How do I provide feedback with my overall experience using the LMS? 

  • A Client Satisfaction Survey Form will be required before completing the course. Learners are encouraged to provide their comments, recommendations, and any other concerns in this section, which will serve as valuable feedback for OADR to enhance future training programs
